SOUTH BOSTON, VA Mr. Page Owen Morris went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the age of 77.Born in Halifax County May 6, 1939, he was the son of the late James Thomas Morris and the late Nannie Parker Nelson Morris and was married to Joyce Comer Morris. Page was a member of Centerville Baptist Church where he was a choir member and an usher.He enjoyed fishing, singing, playing ball, working with wood and sheet metal and most of all playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.He was a retired employee of Comfort Systems USA . Survivors include his wife, Joyce; daughters, Lynn Wilson(Mark), Vivian Diane Morris, Bonnie Morris Glasscock, Bonita Peck(Keith) and Ann Page Morris; brother, Riley Morris(LaJanice); sisters, Elizabeth Clark, Myrtle Howerton, Francis Conner, Nellie Brown; grandchildren, Amanda Williams, Amber Wilson, J.W. Rutherford, Erica Newcomb, Jessica Humphries, Mary Glasscock, Joshua Clark, Amy Wilson, Chloe Peck, Onalee Devereaux; great grandchildren, Cadence Williams, Mallory Page Humphries, Gunner Humphries and Eli Owen Newcomb. Other than his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Willie Morris. Funeral services for Mr. Morris will be Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Centerville Baptist Church with Reverend Todd McClure officiating.The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Centerville Baptist Church from 7:00-8:30 PM and at other times at his home, 1137 Alphonse Dairy Rd. South Boston. Burial will be at Halifax Memorial Gardens.
