Patricia Pittman Callahan

SCOTTSBURG, VA Mrs. Patricia Pittman Callahan, widow of Glenwood Ray Callahan, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the age of 71. Born on March 3, 1948, she was the daughter of the late R.C. Pittman and the late Geraldine Riggan Pittman. Patricia loved her family, especially her grandchildren.She made friends with everyone and would give them “the shirt off her back”. She is survived by a grandson, Kody Shelton and wife, Deanna; granddaughter, Madison Shelton; grandson, Dakota Loftis; special aunt, Janet and Ray Claiborne; special friend, Cathy Simpson and son, Jason; and numerous family members including aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by; sister, Sandra Moss; son, Randy Pittman and daughter, Angie Callahan. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Brooks Lyon Betty B. Jones Chapel with Reverend Larry Davis officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the home, 1112 Elmer Barker Trail, Scottsburg and immediately following the service at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home on Thursday. The family requests those wishing to give memorials, please give to the family in her memory.
