Paula Stuart Lawter Flood

SOUTH BOSTON - Paula Stuart Lawter Flood of South Boston died Monday, July 18, 2016 at the age of 84. She was born in Bermuda on November 17, 1931 to the late Charles Stuart and the late Eva Porteous Stuart. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence D. Lawter and Alden Flood. Mrs. Flood is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Talley and husband, Harry of South Boston; grandson, Bryan Talley of South Boston; and granddaughter, Kathryn Grace Talley. She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, daughter, Pamela Pleasants, granddaughter, Lori Pleasants, and two brothers. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Norman Talley officiating. Burial will follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Brooks Lyon Funeral for one hour prior to the service on Saturday and at other times at the home, 206 Sycamore Rd., South Boston.
