Pearl Tuck Adcock

Pearl Tuck Adcock, 73, widow of Harvey Ray Adcock, died Thursday, July 24, 2008 at her home. Daughter of the late Edward Presley and Patty Adcock Tuck, Pearl was born in Virgilina and grew up in Nelson. She was a member of Nelson Baptist Church and was retired from Burlington Industries with 36 years service, many of those as a Lab Technician. Funeral services will be 2PM Saturday at Nelson Baptist Church with the Reverend James McAlister officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1Pm, one hour prior to the service at the church. Pearl is survived by her daughter, Diane Snoddy of Nelson and her grandchildren, Alicea and Andrew Adcock, both of Riverview, Florida. She is also survived by her sister, Miriam Hayes of Hopewell and brother, Walter Tuck of California. She was preceded in death by her sons, Ronald and Donald Adcock.
