Peggy Dale Wilkerson Loftis

Bullock, NC Peggy Dale Wilkerson Loftis, wife of Travis Mason Loftis, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at the age of 68. She was born in Granville County, NC on July 10, 1950 to the late Lawrence Hoover and Sarah Elizabeth O’Geary Wilkerson. Peggy Dale was a Bluestone High School graduate. She was retired from W.A. Adams and the Town of Stovall and was a member of Grassy Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Peggy Dale is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Tondra Loftis of Bullock, NC; grandchildren, Taylor Loftis Womack and husband, Ty, of Oxford, NC and Scott Alan Loftis, II of Bullock, NC; brothers and their wives, Bobby Ray and Donna Wilkerson of Henderson, NC and Lawrence Hoover, Jr. “Larry” and Susan Wilkerson of Spruce Pines, NC. A Memorial service will be held at 3 P.M. on Saturday, June 22 at Grassy Creek Baptist Churchwith the Reverend Cameron Currin officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations to Grassy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund be considered.
