Peggy Booth Davis

Peggy Booth Davis, 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 21, 2012. Peggy was born on November 24, 1932 in Buffalo Junction to the late Bennie Davis and Virgie Griffin. She grew up in Buffalo Junction graduating from Clarksville High School. Mrs. Davis is the widow of Charles Franklin Davis, Jr. to whom she was married on October 23, 1955. She was employed at Burlington Industries, Clarksville Elementary School cafeteria and Russell Stover Candies and in Clarksville. Peggy is survived by her sister Wilma Overbey of Buffalo Junction and was preceded in death by her sister Mabel D. Arrington. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sherry and Michael Fulcher of Wake Forest, NC, and three grandchildren, Payne Fulcher of Portland, Oregon, and Lauren Fulcher, and Kristen Fulcher of Wake Forest. Peggy is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Committal services will be held at Gravel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 1662 Carters Point Road, Buffalo Junction, Va 24529 on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11:00 am presided by Reverend Dr. William Weeks.
