Phyllis Williams Foster

Mrs. Phyllis Williams Foster of 1180 Foster Rd., Alton, VA died on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 at her home. Born to the late Rennie Turner Williams and and the late Keith Williams on March 31,1926, she lived her entire life in Halifax County, VA. She was married November 21, 1947 to William Sam Foster who survives. In addition she is survived by their son, William Joe Foster and his wife Anne of Danville; three granddaughters and their husbands Ellen Foster of Charlottesville, Sarah and Timothy Robinson of Greensboro, NC and Rebecca and Matthew Miller of Canton, NC Phyllis was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church where family and friend will gather for her funeral service on Sunday, November 10 at 3:00 PM. The Rev. Ralph Hawkins and The Rev.Robert Huffman will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
