Phyllis Daniels Williamson

Sanford, NC - Phyllis Daniels Williamson, 95, of Sanford, NC (formally of Emporia and Clarksville, VA and raised in Elkins, WV) passed away on September 26, 2016.She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Bruce Williamson, and by a brother, Stanley B. Daniels. Mrs. Williamson was a graduate of Davis & Elkins College in Elkins, WV and a member of Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church.She was a homemaker and a Christian who longed for heaven.Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Linwood Parker of Pearisburg, VA and her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Joan Williamson of Concord, NC.Also surviving are grandchildren, Aimee Cassada and friend Steve Haessly, Leslie Spears and husband, Tanner, Matthew Parker, and fiancée, Nicole Ellis and great-children, Robin Kovac, Christian Lee, Joshua Lee and Adam Spears. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Buffalo Junction, VA with Dr. Kevin Rosenfeld officiating.
