Ralph Jennings Fallen

NATHALIE Ralph Fallen of 1120 Lake Conner Road, Nathalie, Virginia died on June 15th, 2021 at his home with his loving wife of 63 years; Inez Upton Fallen, at his side. Ralph was the son of Mary Covington and Floyd Fallen, born on September 8th, 1927 in Nathalie, Virginia. Ralph was a deacon of Providence Presbyterian Church, a 70 year member of Kerns Masonic Lodge #143 A.F.& A.M. and an Army Veteran of WWII. He retired from Westinghouse Industries and was an avid gardener and farmer. Ralph was known and appreciated by many for his quick wit, kindness and wisdom. Ralph is survived by his wife Inez, sister Geraldine Overstreet, and brother Jackie Fallen, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Calvin and Mark; and siblings, Franklin Fallen, William Fallen, Floyd (Goo) Fallen, and Florine Bomar. Special thanks are given to Timothy Lloyd, Donna Lacks and Christina Schermerhorn for their attentive care of Ralph and Inez. Funeral Services will be held Friday June 18th, 2021 at Providence Presbyterian Church, 8221 Coles Ferry Road, Nathalie, Virginia at 2pm. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will occur one hour prior to the funeral, in the sanctuary. Friends and family are welcome to gather in the fellowship hall following the funeral. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Providence Presbyterian Cemetery Fund, c/o Robert Kell, 3131 Clarkton Road, Nathalie, VA 24577.
