Ray William Talley

Virgilina, VA - Ray William Talley, husband of Gwendolyn Hite Talley, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at the age of 85.He was born in Halifax County, VA on April 24, 1932 to the late Ethel Hudson Talley and the late Frank Graham Talley.Ray was a retired farmer, who also worked part-time in the auto parts industry.He was a member of North Fork Baptist Church and served there on many various committees. Surviving Mr. Talley are his wife, Gwendolyn, and a brother, Graham Franklin Talley of Fuquay-Varina, NC.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 2017, at North Fork Baptist Church in Virgilina with burial to follow in the church cemetery.The Reverend Doug Ballew will officiate.
