Raymond Hilton Chronister

Chase City, VA- Mr. Raymond Hilton Chronister, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019.He was born in Mecklenburg County on November 7, 1939 to the late Annie Snead Chronister and the late Walter Franklin Chronister. Raymond retired from Virginia Homes, where he worked many years as an electrician. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Chronister Carden of Louisburg, NC. Raymond was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Chronister, a sister, Flossie Puryear, a brother, Lenwood Chronister, and a nephew, Frankie Puryear. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Virgilina Cemetery with the Reverend Mike Reynolds officiating.
