Clarksville, VA Richard Frank Salb passed from this life, March 31, 2009, at his residence in Clarksville, Virginia surrounded by his loving family. He was born Sept. 1, 1916 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was adopted by Frank and Erna Salb. He moved to Ohio as an adult and resided there for almost 60 years, He worked for Dayton Power and Light Co., Tipp Theater, and Hayner Cultural Center. He was a man of many talents and hobbies. Most of all he will be remembered for his sense of humor and great imagination. He will be missed by all who loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 64 years, Suzanne LeTourneau Salb in 2005, sister Leona Frisz. Surviving are his daughters, MaryLee Salb, Suzanne Michael Noviskey, Kathleen Salb, all of Clarksville, Virginia; granddaughter, Dawn Scott Kirk; grandson, Todd Sally Palilla, both of Virginia; and three great-grandchildren; Sabrina and Devin Kirk, and Nicholas Palilla.
