Robert "Bobby" Douglas Jones

Mr. Robert "Bobby" Douglas Jones of 1055 Crystal Hill Rd., Crystal Hill, VA died Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the age of 70. He was born in Halifax Co., VA on April 21, 1942 to the late Alfred Wesley Jones, Sr. and the late Virginia Bowers Jones and was married to Livian Anderson Jones. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from AT&T. He was a member of Crystal Hill Southern Baptist Church and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Livian A. Jones of Crystal Hill, VA; one son, Robert Douglas "Bob" Jones, Jr. of Charleston, SC; one daughter, Ginger Jones New of South Boston; one sister, Jeanne Jones Hollis of Richmond, VA; one brother, A. Wesley Jones, Jr. of Luray, VA; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at the Graveside in Crystal Hill Southern Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bob Hurd officiating. The family will receive friends at the home.
