Robert "Buck" Conner

SOUTH BOSTON Mr. Robert Dean “Buck” Conner passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 at the age of 75.Born in Halifax County on June 13, 1943, he was the son of the late Lewis Mayfield Conner and the late Nanny Cornelius Faulkner. He was married to Doris Jacobs Conner, the love of his life for 43 years. Buck was retired from Duke Energy. Other than his wife, he is survived by a sister, Rosalie Conner Perkins and a brother, William Carl Conner and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends that he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce C. Hernandez and brothers, Raymond Conner, Owen Conner and Roy Lee Conner. At the family’s request, all services will be private.
