Robert Gerald "Bob" Cameron, Sr.

Mr. Robert Gerald "Bob" Cameron, Sr. of Clarksville, husband of Janet Bliley Cameron, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at the age of 78. Bob was born in Richmond on May 1, 1945 the son of the late Shirley Edward Cameron and the late Alice Mae Nuttall Cameron. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from Dupont after 39 years. Bob loved to fish and spent a great part of his life fishing up and down the east coast. Playing ball was another passion and he played until he was in his late 30’s.

Mr. Cameron is survived by his wife, Janet; son, Robert G. Cameron, Jr., and wife, Stacy D. Cameron of Chesterfield; daughter, Jacqueline Yetka of Norfolk; grandchildren, Kirsten Cameron, Kathleen Yetka, Chris Yetka, and Nick Yetka; and stepson, Dennis Darnell and wife, Jennifer.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 1pm in the Watkins Cooper Lyon Chapel, with Visitation to follow.
