Mr. Robert Lewis Clark, 88, husband of Beatrice Noble Clark, died Monday, June 1, 2009 at his home. He was born August 28, 1920 to Harry Thomas and Lucy Clark in Galesburg, Illinois. A U.S. Army Air Corp World War II veteran, Mr. Clark received one service stripe, the American Campaign medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with one Bronze Battle Star; Good Conduct Medal and a World War II Victory Medal. He was a retired Operations Manager with Allied Stone. Funeral services will be 3PM Friday, June 5, 2009 at Delrayno Baptist Church with the Reverend Hilton Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Meadowview Cemetery. In addition to his wife, Mr. Clark is survived by his step-daughter, Connie Arrington of Clarksville; step-sons, Craig Morford of Oxford, NC and Todd Morford of Madison Wisconsin. Five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive him. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 2PM until 3PM at the church. Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
