Robert Franklin Faucette

Robert Faucette, Sr., 64, of South Hill, Virginia, passed Thursday, December 19, 2019. Robert was born April 16, 1955, and is survived by three of his children (Joseph Sutton, Robert Faucette Jr., and Brittny Faucette) and was preceded in death by his son Haymon Faucette (2004). Robert is also survived by his eight grandchildren: Carissa (19), Brandon (16), Justin (16), Madison (13), Makayla (13), Nathan (13), Jadon (12), and Nicholas (5). Robert was a loving father and a loyal friend to those that knew him. He worked as an automobile mechanic for more than 30 years but was forced to give up the career he loved due to his health. Robert was especially fond of old muscle cars and Harley Davidson motor cycles. While he still had his health, he spent his free time working on his 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Station Wagon and his 1967 Harley Davidson Shovel Head motorcycle. He also enjoyed riding his 2002 Harley Davidson Twin Cam whenever he got the chance. A special thank you to the people at Transitions LifeCare Hospice in Raleigh for their loving care and support during his final days. Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Watkins Cooper Lyon funeral home for being very accommodating and understanding during this difficult time. Funeral services for Robert will be at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Skipwith, Virginia on Sunday, December 22 at 3:00. Family and friends are welcome to attend his graveside service.
