Robert Wise Wall

Robert Wise Wall of South Boston passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at the age of 90.  He was born in Mecklenburg County on April 23, 1933 to the late Willie Wise Wall and the late Etta Keeton Wall. He is survived by his wife, Lou Etta Pruitt Wall of 72 years.

Robert was the owner of Wall’s Sheet Metal for over 30 years. He was a farmer, roofer and a carpenter. He always enjoyed people and never met a stranger.  A member of Buffalo Baptist Tabernacle, he served as a deacon.

He is survived by his wife, Lou Etta; children, Gloria Jordan (Bobby), Bob Wall, Lunnie Wilkerson (Eddie) and Patricia West (Mike); grandchildren, Jeremy Wall (Tammy), April Wall, Shannon Jordan (Daisy), Chad Wilkerson and Nicholas West; 15 plus great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Wilkerson; great grand, Cory Wilkerson; and a brother, Lawrence Wall.

Services for Mr. Wall will be held on Monday, December 11 at 2:00PM at the Buffalo Baptist Tabernacle. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour before the service at the church.
