Robert Edgar Willis

Robert Edgar Willis, 69, husband of Georgia Fields Willis, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Halifax Regional Hospital. Mr. Willis was born November 20, 1942 to Clinton and Mabel Smith Willis in Coeburn, Va. Retired from Ford Motor Company with 31 years of service, Robert was a metal repairman. In addition to his wife, Mr. Willis is survived by his daughters, Melissa Willis of Virginia Beach and Mindy Fink of Boydton, son, Christopher Willis, also of Boydton, and seven grandchildren. His sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Robert Skeens of Bristol, TN and Brenda and Gary Oliver of Kingsport, TN; and brothers and sister-in-law, Clayton and Shirley Willis of Wise, Va and Jack Willis of Brookneal also survive. Memorial services will be held at Black Branch Baptist Church in Chase City with Reverend Clyde Shelton on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 3PM.
