Roger Gravitt Sizemore

SOUTH BOSTON, VA Mr. Roger Gravitt Sizemore of South Boston, VA died Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the age of 67. He was born in Halifax County on October 2, 1948 to the late Elwood Gravitt Sizemore and the late Alease Carver Hayes and was married to Lajanice Jones Sizemore. Roger was an active member of Grace Baptist Church and he loved restoring old cars. Mr. Sizemore is survived by his wife, Lajanice Sizemore; a daughter, Merry Lynn Styles and husband Kevin of Cluster Springs; two grandchildren, Paul Styles and Matthew Styles; a brother, Danny Sizemore of South Boston; a niece, Brandy Sizemore; a nephew, Jason Sizemore; great nephews, Jamie and Cody Sizemore; and a great niece, Makayla Hudson. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at Grace Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 2:00 PM with The Reverend Jack Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Grace Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Grace Baptist Church Tuesday, March 29, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
