Rogers Martin

SCOTTSBURG - Mr. Rogers Martin, Sr. of Scottsburg passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 at the age of 84. He was born in Halifax Co., VA on February 25, 1934 the son of the late Crayton Fuller Martin and the late Rosa Elizabeth Wade Martin. Rogers was of the Methodist faith. He loved cats, drawing, and watching movies. Survivors include his sons, Rogers Martin, Jr. and Michael Lee Martin; and the mother of his children, Delores Powell. Services for Mr. Rogers Martin, Sr. will be held at a later date. The family requests memorials be made to Halifax Regional Hospice, 2204 Wilborn Ave., South Boston, VA 24592.
