Ronald Ollie "Ronnie" Brumfield

Ronald Ollie "Ronnie" Brumfield of Clover passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024 at the age of 53.  He was born in Halifax County on September 9, 1970 to Ollie Brumfield and Ruby Clay Brumfield.

Ronnie worked at CSE, Inc and previously at James T. Davis in Lynchburg.   He was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church and attended Rodgers Chapel Baptist Church .  Ronnie loved his 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air, known as Christine, and loved showing it in car shows.  He and his brothers were very close and together formed many fond memories.   He treasured his grandchildren, they were the light of his life. Ronnie enjoyed going on trips with his special friend, Kim, and spending time together.
He is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Elizabeth Severs (Bill); brothers, Randy Brumfield, Calvin Brumfield and Jimmy Brumfield (Wendy); grandchildren, Daklynn Severs and Abel Severs; step brother, Jeff Williams; special friend, Kim Dawson; long time neighbor, Lucille and close friends, Ronnie Scruggs, Jeff Conner and Lindy Satterfield.
He was preceded in death by nephews, Stephen Brumfield, Anthony Brumfield and Jimmy Brumfield, Jr and a step son, Dakota Nelson.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Rodgers Chapel Baptist Church with Reverends David Dawson and Aubrey Heath officiating. Burial will follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 12th from 6 - 8 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff & nurses at Alan B. Pearson Cancer Center in Lynchburg, especially Fran.
People are welcome to bring their classic cars and be in the procession.
