It is with great sadness that the family of Ronnie Ray Bowen announce his sudden passing on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at the age of 74. He was born to the late Harold Mason Bowen and Doris Lowery Bowen.
Ronnie was a life long farmer, who never truly retired. He enjoyed the farm life along with hunting and fishing. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart. He was a member of North Fork Baptist Church.
Ronnie will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Kathy, of 54 years; children, Kathryn Bowen-Dotten (Chris), Connie Bowen Spradlin (James) and Quentin Bowen (Jennifer); grandchildren, Payton Adams, Katlyn Adams, Cole Bowen, Cale Bowen, Kennedy Bowen & Jamie Spradlin; great grandchild, Ellie Adams; brothers, Vance Bowen (Rita), Cecil Bowen (Ramona); sisters-in-law, Linda Bowen & Dorothy Bowen; and a host of nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas Oscar Bowen and Harold Randall Bowen.
A Celebration of Ronnie's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 13, 2025 at North Fork Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home and other times at his home.
