Roxie Lacks Harris

CLOVER - Mrs. Roxie Lacks Harris of Clover, VA died Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the age of 60. She was born in Halifax Co. on June 30, 1955 to the late Watt Hailey Lacks and Rosalea Martin Lacks and was married to the late Danny Harris. Roxie was a former employee of JP Stevens. She loved to read (traveling the world through books), watching movies, talking on the phone, and Facebook. She is survived by her Mother; Rosalea Martin Lacks of Clover, two sons, Brian Fallen of Clover and Jamie Fallen and wife, Lynn of Dryburg; a daughter, Margaret Hughes and husband, Shay of South Boston; three sisters, Teresa Powell of Danville, Trudy Dalton and husband, Mark of Halifax, and Rhonda Elliott and husband, David of Alton; a brother, Barry Lacks and wife, Judy of Clover; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, father, and a son, Craig Fallen. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 4:00 PM at the Clover Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Barbara Gravely and Bruce Terrell officiating. The family will receive friends at the Clover Church of God Prophecy on Sunday from 2:30 PM until 4:00 PM.
