Ruby Dianne Sadler Lowery

SOUTH BOSTON Ruby Dianne Sadler Lowery of Lowery Road passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the age of 72.Born in Mecklenburg County on January 27, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Sadler and the late Helen Caudle Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Thurston "Cotton" Lowery, Sr. Dianne was a member of North Fork Baptist Church where she served on the hostess, Christmas & Easter decorating committees for many years. She loved all her church family. She enjoyed her years of retirement, vacation travel, looking at nature's beautiful colors, flowers, and water falls, decorating her own home for every holiday.She lived for her children and grandchildren. Whether just playing in the yard or at their sports games, cook outs, or just camping out in her back yard, Dianne treasured every moment. She is survived by her children, Thurstie Lowery Sherman (Chester), Wayne T. Lowery, Jr (Lesley) and Amber Lowery Spencer (Casey); grandchildren, Peyton Lowery, Jackson Lowery, Aaron Clay, Madison "Maddie" Spencer, Megan Young (Ben) and Chester Sherman IV (Christina); great grandchildren, Walter Young and Louise Young; brother, Randy Taylor; several nieces and nephews; her beloved friend and companion, Billy Comer; and beloved dog, RoRo. In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by siblings, Ernest Sadler, Jr, Helen Sadler Francis and Debra Sadler Hall. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 27, 2022 at North Fork Baptist Church with Reverend Doug Ballew officiating.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
