Sally Tuck Seate

Clarksville, VA –

Sally Tuck Seate, wife of Clyde Worth Seate, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at the age of 77. Born in Halifax County on October 11, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Drewery and Ruth Tuck. Sally worked for more than 30 years at Burlington Industries. She later became a CNA. Sally was a bright and beautiful person that gave and received love unconditionally. She especially adored her grandchildren and her great grandchild.

Cherishing her memory are her daughters, Angela Cole of Blue Ridge and Tammy Jones (Mike) of Charlotte Courthouse; grandchildren, Specialist Jack Edward Cole, United States Army, Nicole Meek, Eric Jones and Josh Jones, as well as a great grandchild, Lydia Jane Meek. In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by siblings, Will Tuck, Irene Tuck and Mac Tuck.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 1, 2022, in the chapel of Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home.
