Sandra Seat Lowery

Ms. Sandra Seat Lowery of 1162 S. Nichols Ferry Trail, Virgilina died Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the age of 41. She was born in Halifax County on February 3, 1969 to William A. "Billy" Seat, Jr. and the late Ann Gravitt Seat. Ms. Lowery was a bus driver and substitute teacher for the Halifax Co. School System and was a member of Florence Ave. Baptist Church. Survivors include her father, William A. "Billy" Seat, Jr. of Virgilina; two sons, Jared S. Lowery and Ethan C. Lowery, both of Virgilina; a sister, Cindy S. Spell of Ringgold; a grandchild, Landon S. Lowery; and a number of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and extended Family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Gravitt Seat and a brother, Michael Seat. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home on Saturday, November 20, 2010 from 7 until 8:30 PM and at other times at the home.
