Sandra Childress Parker

Sandra Childress Parker, 69, wife of Gene R. Parker, died Monday, December 20, 2010 at her home. She was born in Person County, NC on October 28, 1941 to George Hubert and Mary Ruth Jacobs Childress. A graduate of Person County High School with the Class of 1960, Sandra owned and operated Lake Country Florist from 1983 until 2007. She was a member of Buffalo Baptist Tabernacle. In addition to her husband of 50 years, Sandra is survived by her son, Michael Anthony Parker of Nelson; grandchildren, Kimberly Renee Cuddington of Pine Level, NC; Melissa Daniel Parker and Casey Lee Parker, both of Nelson. Her great grandchildren, Cameron Wade Cuddington and Jaden Murray Cuddington also survive. The family will receive friends 7-9pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
