Sara Faye Solomon Gosney

Sara Faye Solomon Gosney of the Turbeville community, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023.  She was born  in Halifax County on July 2, 1946 to the late Richard Solomon and the late Sara Vernon Solomon.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Gosney.

Faye was retired from Southside Community Services Board where she held clerical duties and earlier in her life she worked at Burlington Industries.  She was a member of First Crossroads Baptist Church.

She is survived by a special cousin, James Solomon; family friends, Glenn Nunn and Tammy & Terry Glascock; a special friend, Nancy Pulliam and her beloved cat, JoJo.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Wallace, she was preceded in death by long time friend, Barbara Nunn.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at First Crossroads Baptist Church with Reverend Daniel Whitt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
