Sarah Odell Royster Nemeth

Sarah Odell Royster Nemeth, 85, widow of Joseph John Nemeth, passed away Thursday, August 02, 2012 at Chase City Health and Rehabilitation Center. Sarah was born January 19, 1927 to the late Jamie and Mamie Layne Royster. A homemaker, Sarah loved to cook and was retired from the Boydton Primary School cafeteria and was a volunteer for CMH Auxillary. Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with the Reverend Richard Grendahl officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Episcopal Church Cemetery in Boydton. Mrs. Nemeth is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Clarence and Susan Nemeth of Kernersville, NC; Kenneth and Sandra Nemeth of South Hill, John and Susan Nemeth of Clayton, NC. and Tommy and Robin Nemeth of Trottinridge. Her sisters, Rosa Jones of Norlina, NC, and Helen Tucker of South Hill, brother, Bruce Evans of Wilmington, NC, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Rose Nemeth. The family will receive friends 7:30-9:00 PM Friday at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home.
