Scarlett Bass Gibbs

Scarlett Bass Gibbs, widow of Murdock Madison Gibbs, died Monday, December 14, 2009 at her home. The daughter of Thomas Howard and Hilda Gold Bass, Scarlett was a graduate of Bluestone High School with the Class of 1961. She was a retired Secretary from Crowder Insurance. Graveside funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday at Gravel Hill Cemetery with The Reverands Scott Day and Rodney Barwick officiating. Scarlett is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Hope G. and Brett Bowen; sister and brother-in-law, Hilda Watt and Jim King, and brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Betty Bass, and Sammie and Rebecca Bass. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
