Sharon Renee Macgibbon

Sharon Renee MacGibbon passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at the age of 48. She was born January 15, 1977 in South Boston, Virginia to Dennis and Sarah Price.

Sharon was a devoted homemaker and stay-at-home mom.  She enjoyed doing anything that involved her boys, especially outdoors. Sharon loved shopping, going to the racetrack at South Boston Speedway, animals, kayaking and enjoyed fishing.  Sharon also enjoyed taking photos, she took great photos.

She is survived by her mother, Sarah H. Evans (Perry) of Boydton, VA; sons, Garrett Lee MacGibbon of Harmony, NC, Grayson Steele MacGibbon (Skye) of Scottsburg, VA; grandchildren, Riley Paige MacGibbon, Grant Steele MacGibbon; brother, Kevin Michael Price (Melissa) of Chase City, VA; step-brother, Terry Evans (Angel) of Charlotte, NC; special cousin, Keith "Sunshine" Howerton of Roxboro, NC; nephews, Michael Price (Victoria) of Media, PA, Kevin Price of Norfolk, Va.

In addition to Sharon's father, Dennis Earl Price, she is preceded in death by her sister, Rhonda Michelle Price; brother, Dennis Wayne Price.

A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Buffalo Baptist Tabernacle at 2:00PM with a burial to follow at the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends to visit one hour prior to the service in the church chapel.
