Sharon Willis Mckinney

HALIFAX, VA Mrs. Sharon Willis McKinney of Halifax passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the age of 56. She was born in Winston Salem, NC on February 7, 1962 the daughter of the lateByron Charles Willis and the late Nancy North Willis and was married to Donnie McKinney. Sharon was member of Centerville Baptist Church and was an administrative assistant for Dominion Power. Sharon enjoyed life, always with a smile. Mrs. McKinney is survived by her husband, Donnie; daughter, Sarah Cuffe of Halifax; brother, Charles Willis and friend, Belinda of Petersburg; nephews, Luke and Chaz; niece, Shayna; uncle, Charles North and wife, Brenda of Winston Salem, NC; step son, Frankie McKinney and wife, Kristy; grandson, Jacob McKinney; and other family members. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Centerville Baptist Church with Pastor Todd McClure officiating. Burial will follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Centerville Baptist Church on Saturday from 12 noon until 2:00 PM and at other times at the home, 2055 Bethel Rd., Halifax.
