Sharon Cline Tuck

SOUTH BOSTON - Ms. Sharon Cline Tuck of South Boston passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the age of 64. She was born in Rockingham Co., VA on December 1, 1952 to JH Cline and the late Elizabeth Atkins Cline. Sharon was a graduate of Halifax Co. Senior High, the Halifax Nursing Program, and the Danville School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse and retired as director of the Dialysis Program at the Danville Urologic Clinic. Survivors include son, Chris Tuck and wife, Elizabeth of Mechanicsville, VA; her father, JH Cline of South Boston; sisters, Pat Turner and husband, Larry of Alton, VA and Terri Newcomb and husband, Gordon of Scottsburg, VA; brother, JH Cline, Jr. of Staunton, VA; and grandson, Noah Tuck. She was preceded in death by her mother and one son, Jason Tuck. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Brooks Lyon Betty B. Jones chapel with Minister Doug Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home on Thursday, March 2 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM and at other times at the home, 404 Yates St., South Boston.
