Shirley Ann Owen Feltman

SOUTH BOSTON, VA Mrs. Shirley Ann Owen Feltman of South Boston passed away Wednesday, March 28 at the age of 80.Born in Halifax County on October 11, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Henry Herman Owen and the late Lucille McCormick Owen and was married to the late James Hunter Feltman. Shirley had a passion for playing guitar and singing with her family and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by a daughter, Melissa Feltman Newton, 1 sister, 2 brothers and a host of other family members. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Brooks Lyon Betty B. Jones Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service 1:00-2:00 PM on Thursday, April 5.
