Richmond, VA Shirley Temple Tingen Hall, wife of the late William Derwood Hall, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 3, 2021, at the age of 85. She was born in Granville County, NC, on February 3, 1936, to the late Wilton and Corrine Faucette Tingen. Shirley worked for many years in the loan industry and retired as a Vice President with Securities Industrial Loan Association. She enjoyed shopping, interior decorating, gardening and her collectibles. Shirley was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in North Chesterfield. Shirley is survived by a son, James Wiles of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Quinci A. Wiles of Richmond and Alyssa Wiles of Virginia Beach; sisters, Barbara Smart and Jean Beam (Lee Roy) all of Bullock, NC and brother, W.H. Tingen (Judy) of Oxford, NC, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her dog, “Prince Pierre”. In addition to her husband and parents, Shirley was preceded in death by brothers, Ray Tingen and Wayne Tingen. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, May 8, 2021, in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with burial to follow in Marrow’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
