Stephen Cheyenne Campbell

Mr. Stephen Cheyenne Campbell, husband of Joyce Campbell, of Oxford, NC passed away on August 23, 2022 at the age of 46. He was born in Farmville, VA on December 9, 1975 the son of Anita Jean Newton Hartrum and Glennwood Williamson and Steven Campbell. Stephen grew up in the Nelson, VA community and was always working to take care of his family. He loved fishing and hunting and enjoyed hanging out with his friends. Stephen is survived by his wife, Joyce; son, Raven Campbell of Oxford; daughters, Elizabeth Campbell and Cynthia Keeton, both of Oxford;adopted son, Elijah Aiello; siblings, James Campbell, Alicia Lowery, Ashley Bees, Amanda Williamson, Natasha Campbell, Jasmine Campbell, Casey Campbell, Mary Louise Campbell, and Dakota Campbell; grandmother, Laura Newton; grandchildren, Peyton, Landon, Alyssa, and McKenzie Lyles; and his longest and dearest friends, William Keeton and Billy Pugh. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Newton, Mary Catherine Johnson, and Eugene Campbell. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Nelson Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Newton/Wiles family cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM at the Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home.
