Steve Brice

Red Oak, VA George Steve Brice, 69, husband of Elizabeth “Libby” Brice, died at home on Sunday, September 13, 2015.Steve was born to the late Donald Bruce Brice and Marguerite Askew Brice in Suffolk on February 10, 1946.He was a graduate of Herndon High Class of 1964 and went on to be an electrical tech in the Navy.In 1972 he moved to Clarksville after graduating from Appalachian State University.A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th at 11 AM at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with The Reverend Jane Lyon officiating.Surviving Steve are his daughter, Lauren Brice and husband Matt Gilkeson of Alexandria, his son Jared Brice of Strasburg, his sister Carol Franks and husband, Donald of Norfolk, his brother, Mike Brice and wife, Darlene of Delray Beach, FL, his sister in law, Becky Howell of Vale, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM.In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lake Country SPCA at 11764 Hwy 15.
