Steven Lynn Burgett

SOUTH BOSTON Mr. Steven Lynn Burgett of South Boston passed away at his home on Monday, March 22, 2021. He was born on June 15, 1954 in Mountain Home, Idaho to the late Elmer and Gertrude Burgett and was married to the love of his life, Linda Myers Burgett. Steve was a dedicated employee of J. Harmon Saunders as a foreman. He was proud of his family, a hard worker and never complained throughout his illness. Left to cherish his memories is his wife, Linda; children, Lou Ann Humphries, Melinda Moore, Alexis Clark, Michelle Carey (Tom), Kenneth Clark (Jenny), Karen Clark and Amy Yesalavich; grandchildren, Steven Humphries, Wendie Mims (Charles), Kayla Farrington, Jayla Farrington, Jacoby Farrington, Thomas Dale Hite, Jr, Gabrielle Hite, Kevin Hite, Brittany Clark, Jasmine Vass, Carter Vass, Carly Lacks, David Yesalavich, Blair Nance, Connor Clark and Kenneth Clark, Jr; great grandchildren, Mallory, Gunner, Haven, Jenna and Braden Humphries, Adalynn Mims, Layla Bowen and Dior Miller; brothers and sisters, Kenneth Sawin (Sharon), Fred Burgett, Charlotte Huot and Susan Burgett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Lavern Burgett and Leroy Sawin and a grandchild, Andrew Humphries, Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home.
