Steven Glenn Main

Steven Glenn Main of South Boston passed away at his home on Monday, December 11, 2023 at the age of 68.  He was born in Vermont on November 3, 1955 to the late Norman Main and the late Phyllis Squiers Main. He was a native of Bennington, Vermont and had lived in Halifax County for about 13 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Betit Main.

He was employed with the state of Vermont Liquor Control for 20 plus years, also Anne Marie's Pizza shop and Madison Burial Services with the town of Bennington, Vermont.  He loved gardening and was a landscaper.  Christmas was his favorite time of year.

He is survived by a son, Glenn Steven Main; daughter, Heidi Aiken (Lyle); grandchildren, Gregory, Dylan, Joshua, Destiny Aiden and Grace; great grandchildren, Lucas and Amelia; siblings, Jeff Main (Sue), Brian Main (Marie), Lisa Kelley (Brian), Barry Main ( Wanda), Melanie Slavin (Larry) and a sister-in-law, JoAnne Main.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Main.
