Buffalo Junction, VA Mrs. Susan Lewis Yancey, 60, died at her home on June 29, 2016.She was born on June 20, 1956 in Wilmington, NC to Betty Potter and the late Garland Lewis. She was co-owner of “The Country Corner Store”. Mrs. Yancey is survived by her husband of 41 years, Stanley Sizemore Yancey; mother, Betty Potter of Smithfield, NC,a brother, Dale Lewis of Florida; an uncle, Andy Newton of Clarksville; 2 brothers-in-law, Tim Bannister (Lisa) and Jim Bannister, both of Cary, NC and a sister-in-law, Jaymee May (Doug) also of Cary. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Oakhurst Cemetery with the Reverend Jane Lyon officiating.The family will receive friends at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.wclfh.comArrangements are by Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home in Clarksville.
