Sybil Glasscock Cole

Clarksville, VA- Sybil Glasscock Cole passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019, at the age of 76. She was born in Buffalo Junction, VA on May 3, 1943, the daughter of the late Rommie Vest Glasscock and the late Ila Harter Glasscock. She was a 1961 graduate of Bluestone High School. Sybil was a retired administrative assistant, having worked in that capacity with Burlington Industries, Kenan Transport and with a dental practice. She was a member at Gravel Hill Baptist Church. Cherishing her memories are her sister, Paige Hayes of Rockville, VA; brother, Lewis B. Glasscock of Buffalo Springs; and a nephew, Jeffrey S. Hayes of Glen Allen, VA. In addition to her parents, Sybil was preceded in death by brothers, Rommie Lee Glasscock and David Harter Glasscock. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 2:00 PM in Gravel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Joey Tucker officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.wclfh.com.
