Tangie Rae Rose Carter

Tangie Rae Rose Carter of South Boston, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at the age of 61. She was born in Charleston, South Carolina on December 22, 1961 to the late Jimmy Rae Rose and Billie Sue Baldwin.

Tangie loved music and her happiest times were floating down the Mississippi. She loved her family and took pride in taking care of her mother.

She is survived by her mother, Billie Sue Mitchen; her children, William Albert Albritton ( Kristy), Kelly Rose-Shingler (Lawrence)and Joanie Marie Waldrep; grandchildren, A.J., Makayla, Caroline, Sicily, Brooklyn, Madison and Jackson; siblings, Robert Rose (Dawn), Travis Mitchen (Lupe) and Sidney Mitchen.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rae Rose and her step father, William Mitchen.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 4-6 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home.
