SOUTH BOSTON Mrs. Terese Ann “Tracy” Cannon Gellert, wife of Michael Roland Gellert, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the age of 54. Born in Danville, VA on October 28, 1964, she was the daughter of John Reagan Cannon and wife, Scotty Felton of South Boston, VA and Alice Raposa Tucker of Fall Rivers, MA. Tracy was a graduate of Halifax County High School, Class of 1983 and a homemaker for her family. In addition to her parents and her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mary Katherine Jones and husband, Trey of Robbinsville, NC; son, John Kenneth Louis Postell of South Boston, VA; sister, Reagan Cannon of South Boston, VA; brother, Michael Cannon and wife, Angela of Kernersville, NC; a special niece, Sarah Katherine Cramer and husband, Ferris of Denham Springs, LA.; grandsons, Hayden, Houston and expectant grandson, Rowan; nephews, Scott and Michael and a niece, Michaela. Funeral Services for Tracy Cannon Gellert will be Friday, April 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Paschal Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 PM and other times the home of her father, 1103 Edgewood Circle, Halifax, VA.
