Terry Berryman Hughes

Mr. Terry Berryman Hughes of Halifax, VA died Monday, May 16, 2016 at the age of 73. He was born in Halifax Co., VA on May 8, 1943 the son of the late Dewey Berryman Hughes and the late Neriss Bowen Hughes. Terry was a 35 year employee of ABB. He loved baseball, especially the New York Yankees, and University of Maryland basketball. Mr. Hughes is survived by a daughter, Michelle Hughes Ferguson and husband, Brian of Lynchburg, VA; a son, Kevin Anthony Hughes and wife, Maria of Rougemont, NC; a sister, Ruby Poole; and grandchildren, Jonathan, Madelyn, and Elianna. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Earl Hughes. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Hitesburg Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home on Thursday, May 19 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
