Thelma Wilson Parrett, "Billie", 89, widow of Roy Davis Parrett, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012 at her home. She was born September 29, 1922 to the late Edgar and Sarah Lola Harmon Wilson. Mrs. Parrett was a homemaker and she loved to work in her flower gardens. A hardworking link in the Ephesus church and community, Mrs. Parrett, for many years, took care of the linens and silver in preparation for Holy Communion at Ephesus United Methodist Church. Mrs. Parrett's graveside service will be held at Ephesus United Methodist Church Cemetery at 4PM Wednesday with the Reverend Randy Baisey officiating. Mrs. Parrett is survived by her daughters, Peggy French of Mechanicsville; Mary Morefield and Lois Dennis Milton both of Clarksville, and Edith Williamson Albert, of Farmville; and son Charles Parrett Pam of South Boston. Her brother, Marvin Wilson, of Richmond, 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Page Parrett and son, Roy Davis Parrett, Jr. The family will receive friends at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home one hour prior to the service, starting at 3PM.
