Theodore "Teddy" Ledford

Theodore “Teddy” Ledford of Halifax, VA, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at the age of 90. He was born in Polk County, TN, on August 19, 1931, to the late Edgar and Ada Kimsey Ledford and was married to Vie Ina Ike Ledford, who survives. Teddy was a devout Christian who loved his family. Teddy lived his life for the Lord and was willing to pray for anyone who needed prayer. His love for the Lord overflowed to the people around him and he wasn't shy about telling anyone of God's goodness. He had a willingness to serve and help wherever and whenever needed, and always has a loving and giving heart. In addition to his loving wife, Teddy is survived by his daughter, Linda Henderson and her husband, Art; grandchildren, Arthur Henderson, Jr. and Teddy Henderson, as well as 3 great granddaughters. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00P.M. on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at The Worship Center, 1011 S of Dan School Rd, South Boston, VA 24592.
