Theodore Paul Phillips, Sr.

Mr. Theodore Paul Phillips, Jr., 81, husband of Ruby Houchin Phillips, died Thursday, October 25, 2007 in Halifax Regional Hospital. A native of Canton, OH and South Charleston, WVA, Ted was the son of Theodore Paul, Sr. and Mona Richards Phillips. A graduate of Morris Harvey College, Ted served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II. A Real Estate Broker and Real Estate Developer, he was owner of Golden Rule Realty in Berryville for over 20 years. After moving to Clarksville in 1999 he was associated with United Country Virginia Realty. Memorial services will be 2PM Saturday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with Reverend Greg Randall and Mr. Bill Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Oakhurst Cemetery. In addition to his wife of 58 years, Ted is survived by three nieces and a nephew and the staff of United Country Virginia Realty. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 1-2PM.
