Thomas Walker Gregory

Mr. Thomas Walker Gregory, Jr., 91, husband of Marietta Wilson Gregory, died Tuesday, February 1, 2006 in Community Memorial Healthcenter in South Hill. Born April 26, 1914, he was the son of Thomas Walker and Belle Rouse Gregory. Owner of Gregory Oil Company and a member of the Virginia Petroleum Jobbers, Tommy was a charter member of the Boydton Volunteer Fire Department and former member of the Boydton town council. Graveside services will be 2PM Saturday at the Presbyterian Cemetery in Boydton with the Reverend Richard Grendahl officiating. In addition to his wife, Tommy is survived by nephews, Henry Hansford Gregory, Jr., his wife, Betty and their son, David Hansford Gregory; Alan Saunders, his wife Cathy and their daughters, Elizabeth and Lauren; and Steve Saunders, his wife Terry, and their sons, Joey and Gregory. He was predeceased by brother, Hansford Gregory, sister, Ida Gregory Saunders, nephew, William Knight Saunders, III and great-nephew, Thomas Ray Gregory.
