Timothy Lynn Davidson

Stovall, NC - Timothy Lynn Davidson , husband of Mary Sue Davidson, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at the age of 67. He was born in Roanoke, VA, on Friday, October 3rd, 1952, to Julian Verge Davidson and Mareta A. Dove. Timothy was self-employed with his own auto body shop in Stovall.He was a member of the Stovall Board of Commissioners for 12 years and was a member of the group that founded and contributed to the development of Stovall Community Park.Tim was a 20 year member of the Stovall Volunteer Fire Department.He loved to hunt, but his passion was bass fishing on Kerr Lake.Tim was a gifted musician, who could sing, play any instrument he picked up, and liked to write his own songs. Timothy is survived by hiswife of 48 years, Mary Sue Davidson; his son, Timothy L. Davidson, Jr. of Stone Ridge, VA; his daughter, Kathy Davidson of Wake Forest; and 2 grand-daughters, Kayllen and Skylar.He is further survived by his brother, Julian Davidson; and his sisters, Connie Borman and Alisa Davidson. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 13th, 2020 at Stovall United Methodist Church.Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00am.Burial will be held at Stovall Memorial Cemetery after the service with firefighter honors.
